Our Team

Karen Chrenek has recently retired from Peace Wapiti Public School Division where she supported programming in the areas of Early Learning and Inclusive Learning Services as a District Principal. She has previous experience as an Educational Programming Consultant travelling the Northwest part of the province as part of a multidisciplinary team formerly known as the Grande Prairie Assessment Team. Karen also has experience as a classroom teacher in a variety of elementary and junior high settings. She has a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta and a Master of Education from the University of Toronto. 

Karen values a team approach to support the students in our classrooms. Collaboration is key so that our teachers are not walking alone. 

When Karen is not working, she can be found playing outside.
