A customization and adaption of the Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Foundation Course training for staff working with individuals with behavior difficulty. Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) training is for professionals and paraprofessionals who directly intervene in crisis situations, teaching participants in de-escalation techniques as well as restrictive and nonrestrictive interventions.
Recommended for Administrators, Teachers, and support staff working with individuals who are diagnosed with ASD or exhibit neurodivergent communication
Lunch is provided on site, included in the registration fee.
Please dress in comfortable clothing as there will be a lot of moving around, learning physical movements, etc. and bring pens / pencils to write with.
