Learning Opportunities

Dan Coles is a current executive staff officer with the Alberta Teachers' Association. Dan started his teaching career spending time in both Pembina Hills School Division and Elk Island Catholic Schools. After seven years in school leadership with Elk Island Catholic Schools, Dan joined the ATA spending four years as an investigator. Dan has a graduate diploma and Master of Education from the University of Alberta.

Geneviève Blais, is an Executive Staff Officer the associate coordinator of the Southern Alberta Regional Office with the Teacher Employment Services department of the Alberta Teachers’ Association. Geneviève began her career in 2006, teaching French immersion with the Calgary Catholic School District and eventually became an assistant principal.
